Organized a school stationery package donation program for disabled students in Point Pedro Puloly Methodist Mission School to support their education in celebrating the International Day of Person with Disabilities.
Supported students of Siththyvinayagar Vidyalayam providing them with pairs of shoes in encouraging them to attend the school regularly.
Provided school bags and stationery packages for students of J/Thumpalai Sivapragasa Maha Vidyalaya in Point Pedro, supporting them to continue in their school studies and to thrive in education.
Supported students of J/Siththyvinayagar Vidyalayam who sat for the GCE O/L Exam in Dec 2016 in remembrance of Mr. Velummayilum, on his 27th death Anniversary on 31st Aug 2016 with a school stationery packages donation program facilitating the students with necessary stationery supplies for their studies.
Initiated the scholarship program and school stationery package donation project, donating stationary packages for students who study in /Point Pedro Siththyvinayagar Vithyalayam who sat for grade 5 scholarship exam in 2016 supporting them to thrive in their academics.

Organized a stationary donation program to support children with their school education celebrating The International Children's Day and started English tuition classes for children at the Velummayilum Foundation premises enabling them to improve their knowledge in English.
Funded scholarships for students of Siththyvinayagar Vidyalayam, Point Pedro who passed grade 5 scholarship exam and GCE O/L in 2015 and providing them with stationery packages, school bags etc. and supported them with their tuition fees and seminar fees enabling them to thrive in their future academics without having to worry about the finances.
Inauguration of the Velummayilum Foundation with the vision "Serving the community" by Mr. Velummayilum Thayanantharajah and the family in remembrance of his late father "Mr. Velummayilum" an attorney-at-law and former Chairman of the Point Pedro Urban Council. The foundation premises was opened by Mr. Thayanantharajah, Mrs. Sumi Thayanantharajah and Cameron & Ewan Thayan sons of Mr. Thayan on 31st July 2016 along with a program to support underprivileged school children facilitating school supplies such as school bags and stationary.
